Water and Hydration
Before, during and after training, water is an essential key to your health and physical performance, and most textbooks rank water as the number 1 nutrient. Try to drink as much water as possible, and use soft, or alcoholic drinks more as treats.
Water should be consumed regularly throughout exercise and immediately after your Taekwondo classes. If you are going to be training intensively for periods of over 60-90 minutes, it is recommended that you drink something with added carbohydrates and electrolytes (potassium is a key electrolyte), it is possible to buy these from most good health food shops.
