Ethan James

Name: Ethan James

D.O.B.: 18/03/1999

Favourite Kicks: Turning Kick, Push Kick, And Back Kick

Personal ambitions: Earning my black belt and playing Ice Hockey in the NHL

Things I enjoy: Taekwondo, Skater Hockey (similar to Ice Hockey), football, playing on my PS2

I started training with Tan’Gun at the end of September 2006 and was not sure if I would like it. I thought it would be hard and scary, but after my first lesson and meeting some of the other students I really enjoyed it. My cousin Joshua Neubronner joined a week later.

I started learning my patterns and practiced them everywhere I did my first grading in December and I was very proud when I was told that I had doubled graded from a white belt to a yellow belt. This made me want to train more.

I entered my first competition in February 2007 at Crystal Palace and got a bronze medal, which has made me want to train even harder so I can get the gold medal the next time. I also enjoy going to the competitions, as all the students are all very supportive of each other, like one big family.

I would like to earn my black belt and look forward to my Taekwondo training sessions because I want to get better, and better.
