Kickboxing Ranked 4th In London
Shotokan Karate 1st Dan
I started martial arts training in 1984 when I was just 5 years old. My first martial art was Shenshido, an early form of the mixed martial arts. I got to red belt in that style just missing my black belt. Kickboxing was my next style at the age of 9, I was very successful at this as I used to win all the fights I went in for. I was there for about 5 years until I found Shotokan Karate, I reached 1st Dan in that style. About 7 years after starting Karate I discovered Taekwondo. Which made me realise that this was the style that I really felt at home with. I have dabbled with quite a few other martial arts over the years but Taekwondo is my real love. Having found an old friend in Tan’Gun Taekwondo’s Chief Instructor I can honestly say that this is the best club by far in South East London.
